Starting on the 19th of October, the Wenger & Vieli Accelerator offers free legal advice for start-ups every second Monday (book your appointmnet below).
What needs to be considered when incorporating a company? How and by whom can a start-up company be financed? How can you incentivize your employees? What points need to be looked at prior to an exit?
Answers to these, and any other, questions can be discussed in a session (maximum 20 min) with a lawyer from Wenger & Vieli on a pro-bono basis. These session take place twice a month at the Swiss Startup Factory. Wenger & Vieli AG is taking on this project to strengthen the swiss eco-system and to support startups with their extensive know how and network.

Christian Wenger specialized in the fields of Private Equity and Venture Capital. He supports many entrepreneurs and start-ups with legal advise and helps them with his extensive network in Switzerland and abroad.
Since 2002, Christian is a member of the Seed and Venture Capital Chapter of SECA, the Swiss Private Equity and Corporate Finance Association. In 2003, he founded and chairs since CTI Invest, the biggest and most successful platform for investors in Switzerland. In 2011, he launched together with the city of Zurich, ETH, Zürcher Kantonalbank and Swisscom the incubator Blue Lion. Furthermore, he serves as chairman of the newly formed Kick Foundation, a growth initiative for Startups in Switzerland, and the Digital Zurich 2025 initiative. Finally, he co-launched the Swiss Startup Association of which he acts as advisory board member.

Beat Speck is a passionate, entrepreneurial minded and pragmatic lawyer who supports all kind of stakeholders (founders, start-ups, investors, buyers, employees etc.) during the entire life-cycle of Venture Capital. As attorney at law, notary public and recognised representative of the SIX Swiss Exchange, he acts as a one-stop-shop in the legal VC eco-system.
In 2014, and basically thanks to his many start-up exits, Beat was awarded as Swiss M&A Lawyer of the Year. He is a member of SECA, the Swiss Private Equity and Corporate Finance Association, and does between 15 to 20 financing rounds and 2 to 5 start-up exits per year.

Michael Mosimann is a pragmatic lawyer and Civil Law Notary with a practice focus on Corporate, Contract, and Commercial Law, Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity, and Venture Capital and an entrepreneurial mind. Having advised many start-ups and investors during the incorporation process, financing rounds, and exits, he has a profound understanding of the needs of both sides.
After graduating from the University of Zurich in 2008, Michael Mosimann was admitted to the bar and qualified as Civil Law Notary in 2011. In 2014, he obtained his Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. He is a member of the board of Swiss Startup Association.

Michael Baier’s expertise lies in the areas of Company and Commercial Law, as well as Mergers and Acquisition, Venture Capital and Private Equity. He has assisted many start-ups with questions related to financing rounds and employee incentives.
Michael Baier graduated from the University of Luzern in 2012 and become an attorney at law and notary public in 2014. He is an active member of the Young Lawyers Program within Meritas, an international network of independent law firms with some 6’500 lawyers in more than 60 countries world-wide.

Marc Walter’s practice focuses on Company and Commercial Law, Mergers & Acquisitions, Venture Capital and Private Equity. He advises start-ups and investors regarding the implementation and financing of their business ideas.
In 2014, Marc Walter earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Corporation Law from New York University School of Law. He graduated from the University of St. Gallen in 2007 and was admitted to the bar in Switzerland in 2011.
